Sweepstakes Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF SAN ANTONIO 18 YEARS OR OLDER WITH A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND VALID SOCIAL SECURITY CARD.

1. SPONSOR: The sponsors of this sweepstakes are Univision Radio Broadcasting Texas, LP (KBBT98.5 FM) with offices at 1777 NE Loop 410, Suite 400, San Antonio, Texas 78217, Media Worx with offices at 4 research drive #402 Shelton,CT 06484 (collectively, "Sponsors").

2. PRIZES; ODDS OF WINNING: Four (4) qualifiers will win a Music cooler bag with MP3 speaker. Approximate retail value $50.00 One (1) grand prize winner will win An Apple I touch – ARV: $199.00. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible qualifiers.

The winner may not substitute the prize for its cash equivalent. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute any or all of the prizes with any article or service of similar or greater value at its sole discretion. Prizes may not be assigned or transferred by winner.

3. HOW TO ENTER: You may enter the sweepstakes and qualify to win the grand prize by :

(i) being the 8th caller by calling in to the station at (210) 470-5985 when you hear the song of the day played during Xavier’s World and telling him it’s the Hot Tamales Untamed Hot Hit of the Day. If you have the incorrect song another caller will be selected to try.

All qualifiers must provide name, address, telephone number and email address (if you have one).

Sponsors are not responsible for disconnected or misdirected calls or busy signals. Sponsors may use the information you submit to offer you information on other offers, products or services. All entries will become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned to entrants.

Entries submitted in a manner not described in these Official Rules will also be deemed void. Only one entry per person is permitted.

4. ELIGIBILITY: This sweepstakes is open to residents of San Antonio, Texas 18 yrs or older with a valid Drivers License or valid Texas ID and valid Social Security card. Persons in any of the following categories are not eligible to participate or win a prize: (a) persons who from and after February 28, 2010 were or are employees or agents of Sponsors or its parent, affiliates, stations, subsidiaries, or the service agencies or independent contractors of the above organization(s); (b) persons who are engaged in the development, production, distribution of materials, or drawing of winners for this sweepstakes; (c) persons who are immediate family of, or who reside in, the same household as any person in either of the two preceding categories; and (d) persons who have won a trip from the station within the past thirty (60) days.

5. DRAWING: Listeners will be instructed to visit www.thebeatsa.com to find out the name of the Hot Tamales Untamed Hot Hit of the Day. Each song will be posted at 5:00pm for the following day. All the songs will remain on the website once they are played. Hot Tamales Untamed Hot Hit of the Day will be played sometime on Xaviers World (5:30am – 10:00am) and you must call in and tell Xavier it is the Hot Tamales Untamed Hot Hit of the Day. Qualifiers will be selected on a daily basis during the promotion as set forth in Paragraph 3 above. All four (4) qualifiers will then be put into the Grand Prize Drawing. Xavier will randomly select one of the qualifiers on or about Friday, March 12, 2010 and the qualifier will need to name all four Hot Tamales Untamed Hot Hit of the Day. If they are incorrect he will randomly select another qualifier to name all four Hot Tamales Untamed Hot Hit of the Day. Winner must claim prize within 30 days of winning. The Grand Prize winner must fill out any and all required documents (ie..Winner sheet, W 9, release forms and present a valid Drivers License and valid SS card). If the Grand Prize winner is ineligible, it will be deemed as if the winner has rejected the prize, and Sponsors will select a new Grand Prize or runner up winner.

In the event that the winner is (a) ineligible or (b) fails to return the necessary signed releases to the Sponsor on or about April 12, 2010 the Sponsor will select another winner in accordance with these rules (time permitting).

6. SCHEDULE: The sweepstakes begins on March 8, 2010 and ends on March 12, 2010. The Grand prize winner will be selected on or about March 12, 2010

7. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS: Sponsors reserve the right to modify or terminate this sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsors’ reasonable control impairs the integrity of the sweepstakes as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. At their sole discretion, Sponsors may disqualify any person whom they consider to have intentionally violated the Official Rules or any element of this sweepstakes. By participating, entrants agree: (a) to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judge; (b) to release and hold harmless Sponsors, their parent, affiliates, stations, subsidiaries and independent contractors, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents, including advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to acceptance, possession or use (or misuse) of the prizes or participation in the sweepstakes. All prize recipients must sign a separate release. Winner agrees to permit Sponsors to use his/her name, address, city, state, photograph, voice, videotape or any likeness for advertising or publicity purposes for no additional compensation.

8. TAXES: Taxes (federal, state, and local) are the sole responsibility of the winner and the winner may be required to complete tax forms.

10. COPY OF THE RULES: To obtain a copy of the rules, please send a separate, self-addressed stamped envelope to “KBBT Hot Tamales Untamed Hot Hit of the Day Giveaway – Promotion Rules", 1777 NE Loop 410, Suite 400, San Antonio, Texas 78217.

11. APPLICABLE LAW: These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to conflicts of law rules. Winner must comply with all applicable state laws related to possession of the prize.
