1st Night Club Gig was @ 17..."Mingles" in Lil Canada Suburb of St. Paul.
1st Radio Gig was KMAP 1370 AM "The Beat of the Twin Cities" ...Hip Hop and R&B in 1987.
In 1990 I moved to Houston, TX to attend The Art Institute of Houston for Music & Video Business...I fell in love with Tejano music and landed a weekend gig @ KQQK Tejano 106.5.
By 1994 I was promoted to Program Director.
In 1996 I left KQQK and got a part-time gig with Puro Tejano 100.7.
In 1997 I worked The Club scene in Houston at night and got a part-time job mixing and weekend on-air talent at KSYU Kiss 98.5 in Houston...Rhythm Top 40.
In 1998 I went back to Program Puro Tejano 100.7.
In 1999 we flipped the format to Hip Hop and R&B House Party 100.7 and in 2001 we got a signal upgrade and became Party 104.9 where I was still the PD.
In January of 2006 I was transferred to Albuquerque, NM to program KKSS Kiss 97.3 and KQBT B-101.7 and did the afternoon drive DJ on B-101.7!!
Now I'm here in the GREAT city of San Antonio and happy to be with the #1 radio station in town, 98.5 The Beat!
