Dear Docta-V,
Well I'm 19 and married to my husband in the army I've been with him since high school and I chose to marry him young. After we got married I got sick and gained weight mainly due to the medicine I was taking, at first he said he didn't mind but lately he's been pushing me away and he wont even hold me when we sleep..much less be intimate with me. i asked him whats wrong and he says nothing but the other day we started arguing and he said no wonder im cheating on you...at least shes better looking and the sex is better. i was shocked of course but now when i ask if he was telling the truth he says no...but everytime we argue he says the same thing about how great "she" is. i dont know what to believe anymore. plz help!
thanks,

Dear Right Before Your Eyes,
Girl!!! Only read on if you really wanna hear the truth. OK, I knew you did, more than likely, he's cheating on you. He already let you know. Always go with your gut, and I'm sure you knew the truth without me telling you. He sounds immature and a bit selfish to me. I'm sorry that he's betrayed you in that boyish way, but now that he's admitted that to you, you have choices. Work it out with him, or let him go. What will make you happy? A relationship is built on trust girl, do you have that with him? My advice is for you to build up your self-esteem and your confidence and then, re-evaluate your relationship. I gotta feeling he and his mean words are not gonna make the cut. Please remember one thing, you are worth LOVE and respect. I wish you the best...
Always,
Docta-V
